Collaboration Strategy

As discussed above, collaboration is the most important factor for productivity, solidarity, and prosperity. It is also the main driver of intelligence and knowledge.

Furthermore, collaboration is the cornerstone of any group or interaction strategy, between individuals, organizations, nations, or others.

Numerous studies have been conducted over time, including a large number of computer simulations, seeking to determine the best interaction strategies, those that offer the most success.

In summary, the results clearly always point in the same direction.

Many strategies are possible, from the simplest to the most complex. In principle, there are two main approache orientations: competition and collaboration, the latter of which consistently yields better results.

In short, competition aims to create winners, but instead creates losers, because each competitor is a loser until they win, which may never happen, but if they do win, they will soon lose to another competitor and end up a loser anyway.

On the other hand, as has been systematically demonstrated, the bestter strategies are based on collaboration. The best, a very simple one, can be summarized as follows:

Optimal Collaboration Strategy
  1. Try to collaborate
  2. If the other agrees, develop and collaborate, so everyone wins
  3. If the other refuses, maintain the collaboration offer, waiting for reciprocity
  4. If the other attacks, respond immediately and identically, try to collaborate, as a better alternative. The response says No, this is not acceptable. The immediacy avoids resentment development. Identical response confirms control and the will not to escalate
  5. Return to point #1

All the advantages of collaboration make it the primary value and foundation of any value system, code of ethics, or strategy of any kind.
